The ongoing crises produced by the capitalist economic system are coming to a head. Welfare cuts and cutbacks in the healthcare system, a racially charged migration debate and the social shift to the right are just some of the symptoms. In response, the parties in the national parliament are once again discussing an increase in weekly working hours or restrictions on the right to strike in an attempt to pass the costs on to us.
The leaderships of the DGB trade unions have little to counter this. Again and again, they even sign collective agreements that do not even compensate for the price increases caused by inflation. It is clear to us that the only way out of the crisis is to build up counter-power from below. No more social partnership – let’s have a social revolution!
