Ein Mitglied von uns arbeitete in einem Taco-Restaurant in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, ohne schriftlichen Arbeitsvertrag. Nachdem er bei seinem Boss nach einem fragte, wurde er kurzerhand gefeuert. Doch nicht nur das, ihm wurde auch kein Lohn für seine Arbeit ausgezahlt. Gemeinsam haben wir bei dem Boss angerufen, was jedoch nichts brachte. Also haben wir Anfang Mai ne kleine Demo vor dem Restaurant angemeldet. Das wurde auch dem Boss mitgeteilt. Unser tolles Transpi kam jedoch wieder nicht zum Einsatz, denn noch am selben Tag hat der Arbeitgeber das Geld an den Genossen überwiesen.
Lohnraub hat System – lasst euch nicht unterkriegen! Gemeinsam können wir dagegen vorgehen. Vielleicht hast auch du Probleme bei der Arbeit und benötigst Unterstützung. Oder du kannst andere unterstützen und dich solidarisieren. Tritt der Gewerkschaft bei!

[EN] FAU Berlin has had another victory against an exploitative taco restaurant. One of our members, working in a Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg restaurant, had never received a written contract. After asking his boss for one, he was summarily fired. But not only that, he was not paid for his work. Together we called the boss, but with no luck. In response, we announced a small demonstration in front of the restaurant at the beginning of May. The boss was also informed. On the same day, the employer transferred the comrade’s stolen wages. A great outcome for this struggle, and once again, our lovely banner, ‚Let’s Taco Bout Wage Theft‘, was not even needed.

[ES] FAU Berlin ha obtenido una nueva victoria contra un restaurante de tacos explotador: unx de nuestrxs miembrxs, trabajadorx de un restaurante en Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, jamás recibió el contrato escrito. Tras reclamarlo, fue despedidx de forma inmediata sin cobrar además por el trabajo realizado. Llamamos, sin éxito, a su jefe, así que anunciamos una pequeña manifestación frente al restaurante a principios de mayo, de la que también informamos al jefe. Ese mismo día, el empleador transfirió al camarada todo el salario robado. Un gran resultado para nuestra lucha, y ni siquiera necesitamos desplegar nuestra pancarta ‚Let’s Taco Bout Wage Theft‘.
