How To: Industrial (a)ction for a reduction in working hours
Patriarchy and capital working hand in hand? Feminist class struggle is our answer! A 4-day week, paid time off during menstruation, more holidays and an early finish: how can we fight for a reduction in working hours while keeping wages the same? In our workshop, we want to get an overview of the basics of self-organised trade union actionin the workplace:

Da wir eine selbstorganisierte Gewerkschaft sind, sollen Wissen und Skills auf viele Köpfe verteilt sein. Natürlich nehmen wir manchmal auch die Hilfe und den Rat von Anwält:innen in Anspruch – aber den Großteil machen wir selbständig. „Get organised“ bedeutet für uns die Go-To-Personen im Betrieb zu werden, wenn es um Know-how geht. Dazu bieten wir laufend Fortbildungen für unsere Mitglieder an.

Have you ever wanted to do labour organising in your workplace? Or perhaps you have already been busy organising and want to pick up some new skills and ways of looking at the problem? The FAU Berlin are hosting our first 2 day long IWW organising 101 training (in English) from 09:00-17:00 on both Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of July.
Wildcat strikes – Brochure release and workshop
What is a “wildcat strike”? And how do you start? Strikes are our most powerful means of exerting pressure. Unfortunately, still not all workers in Germany can go on strike without fear of consequences: Germany has one of the most restrictive strike laws in Europe, actively putting obstacles in the way of industrial action. We don’t want to leave these obstacles there!
