March at the FAU local is all about the history of anarcho-syndicalism. One lecture will shed light on Rudolf Rocker’s years in Berlin, while another will examine the early days of the Free Workers’ Union of Germany from 1918 to 1923 – a period marked by civil war, the Kapp Putsch, hyperinflation, the declaration of syndicalist principles, and the founding of the International Workers’ Association in Berlin in 1922. Regular meetings of the working groups and sections as well as legal advice services complement the program. In addition, there will be a full-day seminar on collective bargaining agreements and the founding meeting of the IGG Berlin-Brandenburg. Understanding history, organizing the present, building the future – at the FAU-Lokal, Grüntaler Str. 24.
