We are workers from the railway, road haulage, and warehouse logistics sectors, united in the Working Group Transport and Delivery. Whether you’re a railway worker, bus driver, train conductor in public transport, delivery rider, driver for delivery services, or a warehouse or shipping logistics worker—our aim is to improve working conditions across the entire logistics and transportation sector.

This sector is characterised by demanding shift work for skilled workers, weekend and night shifts, app-controlled gig economy jobs for delivery drivers, and many other challenges faced by workers. To bring about real change, we need to organise—both in our workplaces and beyond.

The Working Group Transport and Delivery provides a space for collective organisation. Here, we identify and discuss common problems and develop strategies for trade union action. Our group creates a supportive and safe environment where workers can address any workplace concerns and exchange ideas with comrades. Through the sharing of experiences and knowledge, we aim to help people establish workplace groups within their companies and build their organisational capacity.

Together, we strive to replace the cutthroat mentality so prevalent in our industry with solidarity. By standing up for our rights as one, we promote a culture of social self-organisation. From now on, you’ll never work alone!

We meet every first Friday of the month at 6 pm at the FAU-Lokal, Grüntaler Straße 24. Join us or contact us at faub355@fau.org.
